Cod-Dickensiana

Some images for a cod-Dickens project I'm working on at the mo. In order, top down, that's: Scrooge in his death bed; elderly Belle at the lawyer's office; the miraculous rejuvination of Belle; and the Doctor-of-Restricted-Height visiting the Cratchits.

I drew them all straight on the page with my Rotring 0.2 nib, and the lines look nice and sharp in real life; but for some reason -- I suppose: my shoddy, cheap little scanner -- they've transferred across really ropily: feathery and bitty, even if (especially if) you click on the images to enlarge them. Ah well.

Grumpy Dan

Dan doesn't usually look so unhappy. I'll try and sketch him looking jollier.

Bryn the dog

My father, and his pet dog Bryn. The hands aren't quite right (but then: I find hands really hard to do), but that's what the hound looks like, more or less.
